Thin Lips

Lips come in varying shapes and sizes; some of us are born with full round lips, others with thin or down-turned lips.

As we age, vertical lines appear on pursing, and the lip body starts to invert, redistributing volume, whilst the borders become blunted. It may be that you want to redefine your Cupid’s Bow, or add a little fullness. We are all different. Classically, the ‘golden ratio’ sites that the lower lip should be 1.6 times bigger than the upper lip, but again, this doesn’t work for everyone.

Augmentation and hydration of the lip tubercles with dermal filler can be used to great effect giving natural-looking results. Wendy uses the Non-surgical Lip Tubercle (NLT) technique to enhance definition, without over-treating and creating a ‘duck look’. We also offer subtle Lip Lift treatment which can be achieved by relaxing the upper lip slightly with neuromodulator injections such as Botox.

The ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work for lips, and we take into account not only the size and shape of your mouth, but importantly: who you are, what you want, your smile and expressive profile.
